The Cultural Heritage of Humanity
Pahela Baishakh (14th April) is the first day of the Bengali calendar which is celebrated as Bangla Noboborsho from the core of the heart of all Bangladeshi people regardless of class, age, gender & race. "Mangal Shobhajatra" is organized by the Faculty of Fine Arts. The University of Dhaka has been declared a Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO.
